Infantile Italiano: Ciao, Amici
Week 1: Introduzione — Ciao, Amici! 🇮🇹
Our Italian journey begins with the words families can start using right away! This week, grown-ups and little ones will explore simple Italian greetings and introductions, including “Buongiorno,” “Ciao,” “Arrivederci,” “Come ti chiami?”and “Mi chiamo…”
Through Italian songs and storytime featuring Strega Nona, babies will hear the rhythm and sounds of the language while parents learn easy phrases they can continue practicing at home. We’ll finish with a colorful rainbow spaghetti sensory experience, giving little hands plenty of opportunity to explore, play, and connect.

A Little Magic of the Seasons: Apples
Designed specifically for ages 0–3 with a participating grown-up.
It’s apple season! We’ll discover red, yellow, and green apples through a simple language activity, explore an apple together, and get our bodies moving with an age-appropriate apple-picking activity designed to encourage gross motor development.
This week is all about giving babies and toddlers opportunities to see, touch, move, and explore while experiencing a familiar sign of the changing season.

¡Empecemos! A Spanish Adventure: Viajamos a México
Semana 1: ¡Viajamos a México! 🇲🇽
(Week 1: We travel to Mexico! 🇲🇽)
Our Spanish adventure begins in México! Children will be introduced to Mexican culture through the enchanting legend of El Callejón del Beso, a famous story from Guanajuato, where Ms. Angela’s abuelo is from. We’ll enjoy a traditional Mexican treat, conchas, and explore the beloved story La Oruga Muy Hambrienta (“The Very Hungry Caterpillar”) in Spanish.
Our little travelers will also get creative with a colorful butterfly craft made from coffee filters and learn the playful Spanish nursery rhyme “Mariposita en la Cocina” (“"Little butterfly in the kitchen”).

Magic of the Seasons: Autumn Equinox
Autumn is officially here! On the equinox we have an equal balance of light and dark. We’ll play with this idea of balance and also celebrate the beginning of Autumn with applesauce making!

Week 2: Emozioni — How Are You Feeling?
This week, we’re exploring emotions! Grown-ups will learn simple Italian phrases they can use to talk about feelings with their little ones, including “Come stai?” (How are you?), “Sto bene” (I’m well), and “Sto male” (I’m not well), while continuing to practice introductions from Week 1.
Through songs, music, and stories about emotions and love, babies will hear familiar words and phrases repeated in a playful, engaging way. We’ll also explore taste-safe sensory foam, giving little ones a fun, hands-on sensory experience while families practice their new Italian vocabulary together.

A Little Magic of the Seasons: Courage and Dragons
Designed specifically for ages 0–3 with a participating grown-up.
A little imagination joins our nature-inspired play this week as we enter the world of dragons, bravery, and adventure!
We’ll share the story of Young George and the Baby Dragon, explore the fiery colors of red, orange, and yellow through art, and encourage our little adventurers to move their bodies through a playful dragon-themed obstacle course. There may even be some dragon gold waiting to be discovered along the way!
Activities are adapted for our youngest explorers, so the focus is on movement, color, sensory experiences, and imaginative play rather than completing a structured project.

¡Empecemos! A Spanish Adventure: Viajamos a Guatemala
Semana 2: ¡Viajamos a Guatemala!🇬🇹
(Week 2: We travel to Guatemela!)
This week, we're off to Guatemala! Children will hear the beautiful legend of the quetzal, sample pan dulce (a traditional Guatemalan sweet bread), and enjoy the Spanish-language story La Araña Muy Ocupada (“The Very Busy Spider”). We'll bring the story to life with a hands-on spider craft and learn the Spanish version of “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” (“La Araña Pequeñita”)

Magic of the Seasons: Courage & Dragons
In Waldorf education, there are many festivals. The festival of Michaelmas happens near the beginning of the school year and tells the story of finding the courage within to slay dragons. As the days grow shorter and darker throughout Autumn we will remember our courage. We will also remember it as we take on new challenges during the school year. During this festival, I will share the story with puppets, we will make use natural dye to make our own capes and slay dragons to find the treasure.

Sword Flow: Train Like a Warrior Fantasy Workout⚔️
Ever wanted to train like a fantasy hero? Join us at Bloom for a playful, beginner-friendly adult workout inspired by warriors, epic quests, and fantasy adventures. Using safe foam swords, this all-levels class combines sword-inspired movement with strength, core work, balance, agility, and mobility. No experience required — just come ready to move, have fun, and channel your inner warrior!

Week 3: Corpo — My Body
This week is all about the body! Grown-ups will learn simple Italian words they can naturally use throughout the day with their little ones, including “naso” (nose), “occhi” (eyes), “bocca” (mouth), and “mani” (hands).
We’ll bring the vocabulary to life through familiar songs, movement, and stories about the body—giving babies lots of opportunities to hear Italian while pointing, moving, clapping, and playing. Families will also continue practicing greetings and phrases from previous weeks, helping the language become more familiar through repetition.
We’ll finish with a taste-safe sand sensory experience.

A Little Magic of the Seasons: Scarecrows
Designed specifically for ages 0–3 with a participating grown-up.
We’re heading to the autumn fields to discover scarecrows and corn!
Little hands will dig into a corn sensory experience, play a simple crow-themed game, and explore the different pieces that make up a scarecrow. We’ll also use a mirror to make silly scarecrow faces together—an especially fun way for babies and toddlers to explore expressions and their own reflections.
With plenty to scoop, touch, build, and observe, this week turns a classic symbol of fall into an experience made for curious little hands.

Semana 3: ¡Viajamos a Honduras!🇭🇳
(Week 2: We travel to Honduras!)
Welcome to Honduras! Children will hear the fascinating Honduran story of La Lluvia de Peces de Yoro (“The Rain of Fish of Yoro”), enjoy a taste of traditional Honduran semita, and read Una Casa para Cangrejo Ermitaño (“A House for Hermit Crab”). We'll create our own hermit crab crafts and get moving with a fun crab dance!

Magic of the Seasons: Scarecrows
Would it be Autumn without seeing an iconic Scarecrow guarding the crops? We will learn about corn and crows and then also how to build our very own class Scarecrow! In a beautiful exercise of cooperation, we will figure out how to work together to build him with the given supplies. There will also be a corn sensory bin with guided play.

Infantile Italiano: Famiglia
Week 4: Famiglia — My Family
This week, we’re learning the Italian words for some of the most important people in your little one’s world—family! Grown-ups will practice simple, everyday vocabulary such as “famiglia” (family), “mamma” (mom), and “papà” (dad), making these especially easy words to continue using together at home.
Through sweet Italian songs and stories centered around parents and family, babies will continue becoming familiar with the sounds and rhythms of the language. We’ll also revisit greetings and phrases from previous weeks, building familiarity through repetition.
Our sensory activity this week features taste-safe play dough.

Designed specifically for ages 0–3 with a participating grown-up.
This week, we are discovering spiders! Through songs, sensory play, movement, and simple hands-on activities, babies and toddlers will explore these fascinating little creatures in a playful, age-appropriate way.
We’ll enjoy a spider-themed circle time, dig into an Itsy Bitsy Spider sensory bin, and practice grasping and hand-eye coordination as little ones collect ring spiders and place them onto posts. A spider language basket will give grown-ups opportunities to introduce simple words and observations as children explore.
It’s a gentle introduction to one of autumn’s tiniest creatures with plenty of opportunities to touch, move, notice, and play.

Semana 4: ¡Viajamos a Puerto Rico!🇵🇷
(Week 4: We travel to Puerto Rico!)
This week, our adventure takes us to Puerto Rico! We'll explore a Puerto Rican legend about the coquie, taste a traditional coconut pudding treat (tembleque), and read “The Coquies Still Sing” . Children will then create their own coqui faces masks as we end the class with a coqui song.

One of our favorite autumn animals is the bat and maybe you are noticing them just a little bit more with spooky season approaching. Would you like to learn a little more about this amazing animal? We will make bat puppets and play some batty games.

Week 5: Giorni — Our Days & Routines
This week, we’re bringing Italian into the everyday rhythms and routines babies already know! Grown-ups will learn simple words and phrases such as “Buongiorno” (good morning), “Buonasera” (good evening), “settimana” (week), and the days of the week, giving families practical vocabulary they can continue using at home.
Through Italian songs about mornings and the days of the week, along with stories exploring seasons and bedtime, babies will hear new vocabulary connected to familiar parts of their day. We’ll continue reinforcing greetings and phrases from previous weeks, helping both grown-ups and little ones become increasingly comfortable hearing and using Italian.
Our hands-on activity this week will be taste-safe slime.

A Little Magic of the Seasons: Autumn Leaves
Designed specifically for ages 0–3 with a participating grown-up.
The leaves are changing, and this week we’re getting right into them!
We’ll sing and move with autumn-colored scarves, share a seasonal story, and—weather permitting—head outside for some real leaf play. Little ones will collect and investigate leaves while grown-ups help introduce simple descriptive language such as color, size, and shape.
Rather than simply talking about autumn, this class gives babies and toddlers a chance to touch it, hear it, move through it, and experience it for themselves.

Semana 5: ¡Viajamos a la República Dominicana!🇵🇷
(Week 5: We travel to the Dominican Republic!)
For our final stop on our trip around the world, we’ll visit the Dominican Republic! Children will discover the legend of El Guarupira, enjoy a taste of traditional pastelillos, and read La Mariquita Malhumorada (“The Grouchy Ladybug”). We'll finish the adventure with a colorful ladybug craft using paint and paper towels.

Magic of the Seasons: Autumn Leaves
Autumn in all her glory means colorful autumn leaves. The peak of the season. Of course, we will be jumping and sliding in to leaves. But I also have a scavenger hunt planned and we will use real leaves to create artwork. Handling leaves up close, with intention, gives us a chance to examine them closer. Here we will learn more about the differences between leaves from different trees and maybe even some of their names.

Infantile Italiano: Animali da Fattoria
Week 6: Animali da Fattoria — Farm Animals
For our final week, we’re heading to the fattoria—the farm! Grown-ups will learn fun, easy Italian words for familiar farm animals and their babies, including “mucca” (cow), “vitello” (calf), “pecora” (sheep), “agnello” (lamb), “gallina”(hen), and “pulcini” (chicks).
We’ll bring the farm to life with Italian songs—including an Italian version of Old MacDonald—and stories filled with animals and their sounds. It’s a playful way for babies to hear new Italian vocabulary while parents learn words that are easy to reinforce through books, toys, and everyday play at home.
We’ll wrap up our six-week Italian adventure with a dyed-oat sensory activity.

We’re wrapping up our Early Autumn session with one of the season’s most exciting things to explore: pumpkins!
We’ll sing Five Little Pumpkins, enjoy a pumpkin story with puppets, and investigate pumpkins through hands-on play. Little ones will have opportunities to roll pumpkins, move with them, and wash dirty pumpkins, turning ordinary fall fun into opportunities to practice movement, coordination, practical life skills, and cause and effect.
It’s a wonderfully messy, active way to finish our first seasonal adventure together.

We’re celebrating everything we've discovered on our Spanish-speaking adventure with a Latin Pride Celebration! This week, we'll revisit the cultures and stories we've explored and discover a new legend from a Spanish-speaking country. Families will also be invited to share foods connected to their own cultures, creating a joyful celebration of the many traditions and communities that make up the Spanish-speaking world.
